300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar

To make the Drink (yields 850ml, serving 10)

400ml good quality vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Instructions

To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Put the listed items in a pot, bring to a gentle boil, mixing until the sugar dissolves. After that, turn off the burner and leave to cool down entirely. Transfer to a sterilised bottle, cap it and refrigerate it in the fridge, where it will keep for around a month.

For the Cocktail Base: Pour all the liquid ingredients in a big jug, leave to sit for one hour, then strain best through a fine cloth, making it fully clarified.

For serving: Pour 85ml of the cocktail base into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, gently stirring carefully for a minute to chill. Filter into an frosted cocktail glass or similar, top with the cranberries and finish by giving it a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the top.
